Dr. G. Mahesh is a Senior Principal Scientist and Head of Research Journals Division with National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research, New Delhi. He is a Professor at the Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR) where he teaches and researches in the area S&T information and communication. He has published research papers in the national and international journal including journals such as Current Science, Scientometrics, Libri, Program, Technology and Society, Electronic Library, and so on. He is currently the Editor of Annals of Library and Information Studies.

Dr. B. Ramesh Babu was Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Madras and former Visiting Professor at the Mahasarakham University, Thailand. He served in State Regional Library in Andhra Pradesh (1979-80) and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College Library, Chennai (1980-90) before joining in the University of Madras as faculty from where he superannuated. He has been awarded Dr. S.R. Ranganathan Memorial Gold Medal by the University of Mysore, Commonwealth Fellow (UK) and visited France, United Kingdom, Nepal, Muscat, Thailand, Laos, Bangladesh, Germany and South Korea on academic invitation. He has been awarded C. D. Sharma Best Paper Award by the Indian Library Association , Prof. Parvathaneni Gangadhara Rao Memorial Award by the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, IATLIS-MOTIWALE Best LIS Teacher Award by IATLIS, Best Reviewer award by Korean Institute of Science and Technology Information, South Korea, Lifetime Achievement Awards by the Karnataka State SC & ST Library Professionals Association, and Madras Library Association and also Iyyanki Venkataramanayya and Velaga Venkatappiah Library award was conferred under the auspices of Prof. Kaula Endowment for Library and Information Science .

Dr. Usha Mujoo Munshi, a Fulbright Scholar is currently with India International Centre (IIC). Prior to joining IIC, she has served at many prestigious organizations like IIPA, INSDOC (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research), New Delhi, Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She has over 100 research and conference publications and a few books to her credit, besides a number of other publications. Her publication christened “Multimedia Information Extraction and Digital Heritage Preservation” brought out by World Scientific is a detailed & distinctive anthology on various facets of the research issues in the area contributed by the world experts. Her publication on “Knowledge Management for Sustainable Development” brought out by Scientific International has been released in October 2013 by the Vice President of India. Her publication on “Indian Higher Education – Research Landscape in the Global Context” by CBS Publishers & Distributors Pvt. Ltd has been released in 2016. Her latest book on “Data Science Landscape: Towards Research Standards and Protocols”, published by world leading Publisher, Springer under their book series ‘Studies in Big Data’ has been released in April, 2018.

She was awarded Emerald LIS Research Fund Award (2000 UK pounds) for best research proposal among South Asian Librarians in 2012 for writing a research proposal titled “Raising the bar for fair use access to electronic resources: Are we signing away our rights? An analysis of license agreements and its impact on role of libraries in management education in India”

In recognition of his contributions in LIS, he received the Best Librarian award from the Government of Karnataka (2012), and was also awarded the ILA-GIDWANI-DESHPANDEY BEST ACADEMIC LIBRARIAN AWARD-2017, and received the ILA-KAULA Best Librarian award-2020 during the 66th ILA International Conference on Sept. 27-28, 2021.
